Startacus brings virtual speed networking to Derry & Strabane Enterprise Week 2021
by Startacus Admin
The latest addition to the LEVELUP agenda is an online Speed Networking event, in partnership with Allstate NI and powered by Netminds. Come along and make new connections!
Even though in-person networking might not be taking place right now, the virtual world is opening up huge opportunities. And whilst the pandemic may have led to this year’s Derry and Strabane Enterprise Week taking place online, the opportunities to network are potentially greater than ever, thanks to the LEVELUP Speed Networking event!
LEVELUP is a two day hybrid event which is being delivered by Startacus and taking place on 21-22 April as part of Derry & Strabane Enterprise Week. It includes a series of inspirational sessions featuring keynote speakers, industry leading panels and a pitch competition for early-stage Northern Ireland startups.
The latest addition to the LEVELUP agenda is an online Speed Networking event, in partnership with Allstate NI, which will provide attendees with the opportunity to connect, engage and build valuable connections.
Each attendee will take part in up to 7 random speed networking sessions, giving them the opportunity to develop new links, share knowledge, inspire others and be inspired.
The virtual event, taking place on Zoom, is being powered by NetMinds, a startup that has developed a technology to facilitate knowledge sharing in entrepreneurial communities.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to be connected with other participants after the event via the NetMinds system which matches founders to relevant connections, according to their startup stage and needs.
The Speed Networking event builds on the success of the recent virtual speed networking event which Startacus had facilitated for female founders as part of International Women’s Day.
Spaces for the event are limited, so if you’d like to attend, book your free ticket now!
And when you’re doing that, you might want to check out a few of the other events that we’ve got planned for LEVELUP, including:
What's the Big Deal about Innovation and Entrepreneurship?
A session where we’ll explore how a community's entrepreneurial spirit can be mobilized and we’ll also look at post-pandemic business growth, how a business can survive, thrive and innovate.
Diversity and Inclusion - From Talk to Action
In this session we’ll look at some of the innovative initiatives and programmes aiming to make an impact on diversity and inclusion and why we all need to be part of the process.
LEVELUP 2021 is a two day hybrid event, taking place at Enterprise Week looking at innovation & inspiration from around the world, exploring how people, both locally & internationally, have created opportunity, economic growth & initiated real change. LEVELUP is delivered by Startacus in partnership with Derry City and Strabane District Council.
