Startup of the Week - Chaser

As any business owner will attest to, one of the biggest challenges of all is getting the cash flow right. Whilst it’s pretty easy to issue an invoice to a client for services or goods provided, it can often be a very different story when you are trying to get that invoice paid. Credit control can be a nightmare - particularly in the early days. Help is now at hand however thanks to our latest startup of the week.
Chaser is a startup that is “on a mission to transform credit control” once and for all.
Chaser connects directly with your own accounting system and therefore has access to all the relevant client and invoice info. You can then create and customise email templates or chasers which can be sent to your client base to follow up on invoices. You can use the Chaser scheduling system to plan both which emails are sent and when they are sent.
Chaser will also allow you to tailor your approach for your various clients - whether that means the formality of the language you use in your email chasers or the scheduling of those emails.
Chaser even has an Escalate feature which will allow your chaser emails to be sent from a more senior member of your team to a more senior rep at your client. After all, sometimes that is what’s required before monies owed are paid!
In essence, Chaser aims to help small businesses manage their entire credit control function in a much more efficient manner whilst at the same time improving the results they achieve. There are various pricing plans available, ranging from £25 per month through to £225 per month - each dependent on the size of your customer base and how many invoices you are likely to be chasing up each month. Even better than that - there is an introductory 14 day free trial so you can try before you buy!
