Top 5 Business Apps - iOS
by Startacus Admin
Documents to Go (iPhone/iPad)
This is an essential piece of kit that allows you to open office documents on your device anywhere, hence the name. A little price tag of £6.99 is a small price to pay for the pleasure and convenience. It doesn't allow you to edit those all important PowerPoint presentations, but the ability to impress those investors from your pocket is brilliant nonetheless. Additionally, when you buy it, you get a free desktop version, which synchronises from your phone straight to your home computer.
Hootsuite (iPhone/iPad)
Yes, this was indeed included on the Top 5 Android Apps... but why shouldn't it? It is invaluable to any business. It links all your social networking tools into one little application, allowing you to manage them all from one little button.
Paper by FiftyThree (iPad)
Not necessarily a business app, but if you're an ideas man (or woman), you'll find this little application extremely useful. You know those little leather bound notebooks you would see Parisians pulling out of their pocket to write a sonnet in? Well, it's several of those wrapped up in a quite beautiful app. Superb for making quick notes, and it's extremely easy to use, especially if you're the type for writing notes in books, losing the books then forgetting the ideas therein...
Free to download, but there are a few in app purchases which will give you some new pens and colouring in pencils. To be honest, they're worth it.
So there you are. Startacus loves these business apps the most, but we want to hear more about what you use! So head over to our forum and let us know what your faves are...
